The Last home Game :(

I cannot believe how fast the season has come and gone. Well.. its not over yet and Billy has his last two week trip to Texas for the tournament. I don't think I really understood what I was getting myself into with baseball ;) I just wish he could have all home games, and never travel. That would solve everything! Unfortunately thats not the case and he travels a ton! They had there last series of home games a couple weeks ago. I was so sad that he is done with home games, but I am thrilled that he is almost done traveling. It has been so much fun going to his games and watching him do something he loves.
How cute is he?? Love a man in a uniform :)

The Carson Kids!

It has been so much fun to watch Billy play.
I have loved every minute of going to his games.
He has a had a great year, but I am ready for him to stop traveling and leave me widowed.
UVU had a great season and took The Great West Conference Title.
Lets hope they win the tournament this weekend and finish off the season with a bang!
all I can say is I cannot wait to have my husband back!!!

The Gorgeous Graduate!

I don't know if I have ever seen anyone more excited about graduating in my whole life. Clarissa was smiling from ear to ear for days. She just kept saying over and over. "I am so excited, uhh i am just so excited!! I never have to go to school again, I am just so excited!" She has never liked school, ever since she was a little girl she hated school. This truly was such a great accomplishment for her. She is actually the first Carson to ever graduate and the first granddaughter on the Squires side. We are so proud of her and this HUGE accomplishment.

CONGRATS! WE LOVE YOU!

Happy Mothers Day!

This past weekend me and my mom had the opportunity to go to the temple with just the two of us. As we were sitting there, I kept thinking how lucky I was to have her in my life and to be in the most important place with her, the temple. I am so grateful that I have a mother who attends the temple as often as she can, I am so grateful for her faithfullness and her ability to share her testimony with all those who surround her but most importantly our family. Growing up she always made it a priority to have family prayer and scripture study every morning. She always made it clear to us children how important the gospel was to her. I am so grateful she made the gospel a priority in our lives, it has been such a blessing in my life. She is such an incredible mother, with more patience and love then anyone I know. I admire the way she has raised us and I hope someday I will follow in her footsteps and achieve some of the qualities she posseses as a mother. It is hard to put in words how grateful I am for all she does, she is so self-less and always puts our family first. I am so lucky to have her in my life, she is the greatest mom and I feel blessed everyday of my life that she is mine.

This year I was especially lucky to get to celebrate mothers day, because I not only have one great mom I have 2! I am so blessed to have married into such a wonderful family. I am so grateful for billy's mom and the person she is. She has been such a blessing and she has made me feel so welcome in their family. I love her and I am so grateful for her constant example. Its crazy how much you can love someone you recently met. I believe one of the reasons I had such an instant love for her is because she gave me my greatest blessing, Billy. She raised such an admirable son and I am so grateful for the way she raised him and the important things she has taught him. I will be forever grateful to her for giving me Billy. I am so grateful for mothers day and the opportunity we have to recognize our mothers. I cannot wait to be a mom someday, I am so lucky to have such positive role models in my life. Happy Mothers Day!

Girls Trip!

Last minute, almost literally we decided to go to Colorado to watch Billy Play. Clarissa and talked about it a little bit, and decided that we needed to go. My mom didn't know until that day if she would be able to make it, but lucky for us she came! We figured we don't get to see our cousins very often and this was the perfect excuse, I get to be with Billy and we get to take a little roadtrip with just the girls! I was sad we don't have any more pictures but here are a few :)

It was so enjoyable to just be with the girls, we had a blast just hanging out, relaxing, gettng lost {even with a GPS ;)}watching baseball, eating, shopping and spending time with Stacey & Garrett. Thanks to them for letting us have such a fun place to stay. It was so fun being able to build our relationships with eachother, Billy and I have so much support from our families. We truly are so blessed. Colorado was so much fun thanks for coming with me gals! Get ready for next year- more roadtrips to come :)

Bases Loaded...

I don't know who gets more nervous between Billy and I when he is up to bat.
I honestly almost don't even like watching him because I get too nervous..
But it is all worth it when he hits a
GRAND SLAM!!
I was one proud wife :)

Up to bat with the Bases Loaded....

Since Billy is so humble, I get to brag a little :)

MUSE

A couple months ago I tried getting us tickets to the Muse concert.
They are one of Billy's favorite bands and I knew he would Love to go!
Little did I know tickets were $70 a piece!
So I kind of scratched that idea, but we lucked out..
Two hours before the concert Billy's friend knew someone who was selling 2 tickets for $50!
Of course Billy jumped right on it and we were headed to the concert at the E-Center.
We were thinking the tickets would be terrible but it was our lucky night and
we had front row tickets in the seats!
I have to admit that it was one of the most entertaining concerts I have been to.
I honestly loved it! But I think my favorite part was watching Billy singing and dancing to the songs!
It was so fun to just be able to go on a date with the two of us,
I feel like we don't get that very often and I loved it!
P.S. ~next year we are doing the mosh pit! :)

Oh How I Love Baseball!

So instead of being left at home AGAIN I had the opportunity to go to St. George and watch Billy play. I think Billy had the most support with his parents, sisters and sam and also with my mom and sisters. We had so much fun watching him and I really do love boys in baseball uniforms and how lucky am I that I married the cutest one on the team? Watching baseball is a lot more fun when you are watching your husband!

and don't worry.. there is lots more to come!!
