5th Annual Black & White

Five Years????

Uh.. where does the time go!?

I cannot believe this is our fifth year doing

black and white.

This year black and white was so much fun!

We had a total blast.

I am not going to lie it was a lot of work

and I was relieved when it all came together.

We made it an old fashioned theme

so everyone had to dress old fashioned.

These were the invitations.

We had a fun dinner,

played old fashioned games

and hired a hypnotist!

Which Way??

He was such a good sport.

He was helping me paint all the signs,

set up the tables and do the decorating.

I am so glad we have kept this tradition going.

It is so rare to find a group of friends that

stay so close after high school.

I feel so blessed to have so many great friends.

I sure did get lucky!

Powell Paradise

Lake Powell could be one of the greatest

 places on earth.We got to go down with

my family over the 24th of July.

Unfortunately for us we had to

work so only got a few days,

but it was so worth the trip down!

The first day we hiked "hole in the rock" it is the place where the pioneers

had to pull their handcarts down. Rae McCormack was with us on the trip and read a 800 page book just on that one place. He shared with us some awesome stories that took place at that one spot.

The pioneers were pretty darn tough! It was a great experience learning more about them.

I cannot imagine pulling a handcart down

It was hard enough trying to climb up and down the boulders by myself!

Rainbow Bridge

It is pretty amazing!

Of course the boys.. were so entertained by the fish.

This could be my favorite picture of the trip.

Lydia is so funny!We were telling her to push

brandon in and she kept making the funniest faces

because she was so nervous.

Plus i love the sunflower seeds in her hand.

Poor Billy has such white skin that he just gets fried!

We put sun screen on him literally 10 times a day.

But this is what he ended up doing to solve the issue. ha ha

Such a dork!

 We loved the wave runners!

Billy was laughing so hard everytime we would get on it.

Such a fun family trip.

We are so grateful that we got to go!

Thanks to my parents who worked so hard to make it a blast!
