The life of being a widow is over.. well for atleast for a little while :)
They won the championship AGAIN and he played SO AWESOME!
Back to Back Champs!
I wish so badly I could have gone to watch him play.
Unfortunately, we are poor and flights were outrageous!
Here are a few pictures of him during the tournament.

All-Conference Team!
This is a picture of him at the last home game!
 I love this picture.
Check out those forearms :)
GREAT WEST CHAMPS!
You can't really see him but he is the little

Accepting his award..
All tournament team!
All the coaches
I was dying to see him.. DYING!
He had been gone for way to long and I was so ready to see his handsome face!
Here a picture of me anxiously waiting..
Of course they were delayed for 2 1/2 hours.
They were supposed to be there to UVU at 9:30..
 they got there at 12:00!
It was a long wait, but well worth it!

These are two of the wives! love them :)
Ah! first one off the Bus!!

Yep, I went running and gave him the biggest hug and smoocharoo Ever!
You know the guys on the team watching from the bus were so jealous!

I am so proud of him and his accomplishments this year!
Although he got into a slump he stuck with it and ended off great!
I absolutely love watching him play. I just wish they always had home games and he never left me.
It is kind of a bitter sweet thing having the season end. Right now I am loving having him home.
I am glad he has another year though- I love watching him do something he loves!
Way to go babe, I am so proud of you!
WELCOME HOME and CONGRATS!

Wedding Bells!

This gorgeous gal is getting married June 4th!
We are so happy for her!
My aunt Sara and I gave her a bridal shower and It was so much fun doing it with her!
She is so creative with such great ideas!
We did a love birds theme and centered it all around birds.
I wish I would have taken some more pictures,
but I didn't get my camera until afterwords.
so I will just have to manage.
Here are the very minimal pictures we took afterwards

Good Times

I am definitely a little behind on this blogging thing.
But i am going to play catch up
starting with our great weekend.
Billy had four games, of course...
but saturday was a blast when he had the game winning hit..
so you know we celebrated!

This was the article about the hit :)

Burgess' Hit in Ninth Caps Comeback and Sweep of NYIT
OREM, Utah - Utah Valley completed a comeback win over NYIT when Billy Burgess singled home Kai Hatch with one out in the bottom of the ninth to win 9-8 on Saturday at Brent Brown Ballpark.
The win completed a four-game sweep of the Bears in Great West Conference play and improved UVU's record to 19-19 overall and 11-1 in conference.
"I was proud of what our guys did," said head coach Eric Madsen. "That's a great sweep because New York's a great team. For us to be able to do what we needed to do to win shows a lot about our club."
The Wolverines trailed early after the Bears (10-24, 6-7) scored six times in the third to take a 6-0 lead.
Burgess doubled to lead off the bottom of the frame and scored when Austin Haws delivered a two-out double to get UVU on the board.
Rob Cafiero tripled and scored on a base hit by George Carroll to extend the NYIT advantage to 7-1 in the fifth.
The Wolverines put a dent into the six-run deficit with three in the fifth. An error allowed one run to come in before a bases-loaded walk to Goose Kallunki scored the second run. Chris Benson also scored in the inning on a wild pitch.
In the sixth, Alex Exon doubled and scored on a base hit by Burgess to start the scoring before Haws delivered his second two-out RBI with a base hit to left to plate Burgess. Benson then bounce a double past the bag at third to plate Burgess and tie the game at 7-7.
Burgess' sac-fly in the seventh gave UVU a brief lead but NYIT's Jerry Smith came up with a big two-out single in the top of the eighth to tie it at eight.
In the ninth, Kai Hatch blooped a ball into right that went for a double to lead off the inning. After Exon grounded to second to allow Hatch to move to third, Burgess singled into left with the infield in to give Utah Valley the walk-off win.

Burgess went 3-for-4 with three RBI and scored two runs while Haws had two hits, two RBI and also scored twice.

And the video I tried to record. My sim card was full right in the middle of it! I was super bummed because the team ran after him! it was so fun!

We celebrated the great win with dinner at Malawi's Pizza and country dancing with the baseball team! We loved it! So fun to see billy on the dance floor... pretty good moves i tell ya :)

Love this food...
 Love this handsome man :)
Love this group...

Loved the Weekend with Billy:)

Weekend In Reno!

I was able to go to Reno last weekend and watch Billy's games!
I have the greatest In-laws ever. Thanks to them I was lucky enough to go.
We left Friday morning at 6am. I wasn't feeling so hot so,
I knocked myself out with Nyquil :)
I slept for 6 out of the 7 hours!
(both my mom and my dad informed me that I probably
wasn't very fun to ride with... oops!)
We got there at about 2 and headed to the outlets and lunch.
Then off to the game where I finally got to see Billy!!
I feel like we don't see each other AT ALL anymore :(
I was THRILLED when I saw him.
After the game it was pretty late and I was sick so we had dinner
and  just relaxed at the hotel.
And then unfortunately he had curfew...
so we dropped him off at his hotel.
Which happened to be right around the corner!
lucky us :)
Wealtha and I at the WINDY game!
It was pretty darn cold.
There he is,
The man of the hour!

Saturday I slept in. Which was AMAZING,
plus it helped me feel better throughout the day.
Watched the morning session of conference
and headed back to the ball park to
watch more baseball!
Including this....
Don't mind my hideous scream/horrible recording/
and deep sinus infection voice
in this video!
Billy's 3-Run Homerun!! YAY!
Giving him some love after an incedible game!
Me and my cute friend Taren.
Her husband is also on the team!
It has been so fun getting to know the wives.
They are all great!
This is a picture of us country dancing.
It seriously was a blast!
We are going again... for sure!
Billy and I hanging out at the Casino
after I just won 35 bucks!!
All the baseball players were playing roulette and
losing money left and right.
I knew the odds of me winning were very slim.
I didn't want to waste money.. I told Billy I would
rather have a shirt than waste 20 dollars.
He talked me into just starting out betting 5.
I had five $1 chips. I dont really know the game very
well so I laid all of them on #13.
{That is Billy's baseball number}
I figured itwas a lucky number for the day
since he played so well :)
Billy was like woah woah woah
you probably want to mix them up and choose
5 different numbers...
I put one on 4, 21 and so on..
They roll the little wheel....
guess what number it lands on......
13!!!!
I won 35 bucks just like that
first number I have ever bet on.
(Imagine if I would have put all of them on 13,
too bad I am an obedient wife ha!)
I cashed out and walked away!
It was a blast being able to get away
and be with Billy and my sweet In-laws.
I loved every second.
Thanks Burgess' for such a fun weekend!

Oh how I love my man in a baseball uniform...

Yes, its that time again...
Billy has started his Junior year of baseball
and he is playing great!!
Baseball season is a bitter/sweet thing for me.
I absolutely LOVE watching him play
and knowing he is doing something he loves makes me so happy.
I love that he has worked so hard to get to this point
and he totally deserves it!
I love that his school is being paid for!!
but.....
I hate, I mean HATE!!! being left at home.
Let me just vent for a moment.
Maybe it will make me feel better :)
He usually is out of town 4 out of the 7 days of the week.
From Thursday to Sunday.
He has night school on Monday and Wednesday until 9.
Which leaves us Tuesday night.
One day out of the whole entire week to be together.
Luckily I can walk upstairs to my lovely family
or I would really be insane.

But, then I remind myself.
his school is paid for, he loves it
I love watching him play
and he looks so dang good in his uniform ;) ha ha
So in the end it is worth it and its only 4 months!

This last weekend they played in St. George so
I was lucky enough to go!
We made it a little girls trip and had a blast!
All the sisters!!
My man getting warmed up
All bundled up! It was freezing!
Billy's Cute sisters Anna and Madee!
 Up at the plate!
We are so lucky to have such great family and
friends who are so supportive.
While Billy was up to bat the Umpire asked him..
Wow, is it a family reunion!! ha ha
Here is a Picture of Billy's fan section!
All the Girls minus Lydia after the game!

Isn't he adorable!?!
I think so.. :)

Mike and Jennie our awesome friends
came down to the games!
The whole crew that was in St. George.
Some of the Burgess family and the Carson family!
During the whole game Lydia had been working on making
this bouquet for Billy. She picked the weeds, added the leaves
it honestly looked pretty good. She is so creative!
She couldn't wait to give it to Billy.
They absolutely adore eachother!
I told him the other day. I wish we had money right now because it would be a blast to travel to his games,
he is only in college once and I only get to see him play college baseball for 2 more seasons.
So in my dream world... I wish I could travel to all of his games.
But back to reality... I am glad I got to go to St. George.
It was so much fun and a nice getaway!
Plus I got to be with my husband!!
HIP HIP HOORAY!!

{It must be love}

Billy and I had such a fun time celebrating Valentines Day!
I have grown up loving Valentines Day because
my mom always made us feel so special!
This is what my parents home loooks like right now...
My mom made these little hearts for each of us kids.
She wrote reasons she loved us and words that described each of us individually.

Below are our heart pillows for show love week-
stuffed with lots of love!
I wanted to keep some of the traditions going in our future family
so I started by making these:
For one week straight we always had "show love week"
Everyone would take a day and show love to each other.
We would write love notes, give a treat, make dinner, clean their room etc.
I loved it and wanted to start that with Billy and I.
Since Billy was going to be gone for half of our show love week I sent him on his baseball trip with these goodies and little love notes.
I know the other players are SOOO jealous...
or maybe Billy is a little embarrassed!

I also have had plenty of time on my hands
with Billy being gone so I made this little sign
to get our house feeling "Love"ly :)
We went out to Market Street Grill on Friday
and then made chocolate/caramel covered pretzels.
We had a blast!

Monday morning he came out of the shower surprised with this on the door....

I had string tied to the door knob and then all around the house which led him to this..

Brown paper packages tied up string,
these are a few of your favorite things!

We told each other we weren't doing gifts this year and we would just do a nice dinner.
Well, that was after I had put this together.
So he was extra lucky this year!
and he wrote me the sweetest card-
by far the greatest gift!
I think it was a success he seemed pretty happy :)

Billy had class on Monday night so I just made him dinner.
We had a great time being with each other
and missed all the crowds!

I made this little muffin tin with reasons why i love him!
Not the best pics..
but it shows we are happy :)

I love my Valentine!!
