Billy Bobs Bday

Saturday was this lovely gents 23rd B-Day

Its crazy how much love you can have for someone.

I love this man with all I have in me.

We started out his birthday sleeping in the airport.
Worst sleep of my life. Quite the adventure.
But I can't complain because we spent
the last week on a cruise to the Bahamas!
We got back home around noon.
Then we did our annual jeep ride up alpine to look
at the beautiful fall leaves.
Of course we brought the gun!
We did it last year on the day we were engaged.

which was October 14th!

We were pretty exhausted from the vacation
and didn't have much energy so we went to dinner and the movies.
And of course got ice cream.

The Burgess' had dinner for Billy Sunday,

 and the Carsons had dinner for Billy Monday!

We definitely had great food and it was lots of fun.

 

The Burgess family has a tradition on Birthdays that

 you say why you love that person.

I definitely agree with everything that was said.

Billy is one incredible person!

I love Billy for a lot of reasons but a few that have stood out lately are:

He doesn't judge. He always looks for the positive in others and accepts EVERYONE!

He is very ambitious. He sets high goals and does everything he can to achieve them.

He does everything he can to

make others happy especially me!

He has his priorities straight and knows

 what is most important.

He is going to be the best dad in the whole world!!

I just love him and think he is the greatest!

Summers Highlights

Summers over and fall is officially here.

I am pretty sad about it.

As much as I love fall.

The fashion-the boots, scarves jackets.

And the yummy food- soups, bread and sweets!

I am going to miss Summer.

and spending lots of time with the hub.

Although its over we had a great summer.

of us playing tennis.

We played constantly. Which I loved!!

We also played a lot of volleyball,

went on motorcycle rides,

rented lots and lots of movies,

hung out with our families,

we had a great summer!

End of the Summer Camping Trip

We had been talking about going camping all

summer and finally we went!

I love camping...

for 1 night or 2. :)

We had such a blast and made

lots of funny memories.

Story time:

Mike and Jennie went up earlier that day to set up the tent and find us a good spot. Sam,Shawnee, Billy and I decided that we would go up a little earlier than Mike and Jennie. They had explained to us where the camp site was- big blue tent, right after the out houses, and just past the campers on the left. We thought it couldnt be too hard. So we ride our fourwheelers up and we found it pretty easy. Just past the out house and campers- A BIG BLUE TENT! we look in the tent and there is an air matress, blankets a backpack, lantern etc. We weren't recognizing any of the stuff, but its not like we memorize every blanket they have! so we thought it must be them. Just to be safe we rode up a little further and we couldn't see any other abandoned blue tent.We decided this had to be it. Of course they make ME go in the tent and open the backpack. I am kinda looking through- all I see are sweat pants, t-shirts the usual stuff. But then I pull out this little underwear!! I was dying I panic and throw it back in and run out of the tent. Then we go looking again for another blue tent. Nothing. This has to be it!! I made Billy go back in the tent and look to see if I the underwear really was small or if I was just hallucinating. So he goes in and they were tiny! Don't ask me who those little boys unders were..but they weren't Mikes. We were sure this was the only blue tent around. We built a fire and Shawnee and I were just going to stay at the tent while Billy and Sam go get more firewood. Right as they were about to leave Mike and Jennie pull up... WRONG CAMPSITE!!! we had totally set up a fire, gone through a random backpack and we were at the wrong place. Our real tent was 20 yards away. It was just kinda hidden back. I was dying.. but it definitely made for a good laugh. I was just glad the original campers didn't pull up, they would have been in for a real surprise! ha

Sweet Celeste

Nate and Desi blessed us with this sweet little lady..

Weighing 5 lbs. 10 oz.

Later on that night,

 she ended up being admitted to the NICU.

She had a few problems with her reflux and breathing.

Such a swing of emotions.

Its crazy how you can already love someone so much

when you haven't even met them.

We had to rely on our faith and prayers that she would get healthy.

The hospital is an hour and a half away

from their house. They had to be there

at 8:00am for feedings every 3 hours.

Poor little Ryker had to be left at home every day

and didnt know what was going on.

But he was one proud big brother and lots of fun!

Nate and Desi were so cute and very strong through this hard time.

 They had to leave ryker to go take care of celeste,

 then they had to leave celeste to go see ryker.
I admired their continuous faith.
We love them!!

Thankfully 4 days later they brought her home.

Jenni, Billy and I got to spend the weekend up

there to help out with Ryker

while they were at the hospital.

 luckily for us they brought her home

when we were there.

Such a happy time!

It is amazing what a sweet spirit a new baby brings.

She was so TINY!

They brought her home at 5lbs. 5oz.

 

Let me tell you who's a little baby hungry..

I know that our prayers were heard and answered.

I am so grateful for such a loving heavenly father,

who is aware of all of his children.

We are so grateful for this new addition in our family.
